New Smyrna Beach resident Kevin Aylwin fired a closing round of -7 under par 65 to win the Christmas Classic at Wekiva Golf Club today. Kevin trailed overnight leader Bobby Bai by three shots heading into today’s final round. His 2-day total of -10 under par was good enough for a one-shot victory over Bai who opened with a -6 under par 66. his closing 69 was good enough to finish alone in second place. Jhared Hack who now resides in Las Vegas, NV and Andrew Arft of Casselberry finished the event at -8 under par for a T-3 finish. Rounding out the top 5 was Kyle Wilshire of Georgetown, KY at -5 under. Aylwin earned $2000.00 for the victory.
The Florida Professional Golf Tour takes a Holiday break and will return to action at Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes CC on January 18-19, 2021.
