Sean Jacklin, a resident of Bradenton, FL and the son of PGA Tour Legend Tony Jacklin, won the Florida Professional Golf Tour’s Season Opener at Alaqua Country Club today.
Sean’s 3-day total of -15 under par captured the Championship and earned him a check for $3,000 along with entry fee credits for all remaining 2020-2021 events on our tour totaling in excess of $5,000. His 54-hole winning score of -15 under par came on rounds of 63-66-66 besting a field of 69 very talented professionals.
His margin of victory was a single stroke over runner-ups Jonathan Hodge of Jefferson City, TN, and Pete Kellermann of Jacksonville who both finished at -14 under Par.
Rounding out the top five positions were Jay McLuen of Forsyth, GA, Linus Lilliendahl of Windermere, FL, Alex Rocha also of Windermere, and Hojin Kang of Longwood , FL who all finished at -12 under.
