Whitestown Indiana resident Seth Fair made it two in a row on the FPG Tour by capturing the 16th Annual Ocala Open Golf Championship at Candler Hills Golf Club. Seth was victorious last week at the Zellwood Championship winning $1500 plus a complimentary entry to Ocala. He made the most of that victory and the free Ocala entry this week firing rounds of 66-63-67 to finish at -17 under par leaving him tied at the top the leaderboard with Patrick Williams. Williams finished regulation play on rounds of 64-68-64.
The pair would make three trips down the 18th before it was finally decided with Fair making birdie for a second time to win the Championship.
A total of 132 players from around the world began play on Wednesday morning, It took a 36-Hole score of -3 under par to make the cut this year on the 7200 yard par 71 Candler lay-out.
Fair takes home $15,000 for the victory while Williams earned $8000 as the runner-up. FPGTour Season money leader Willie Mack III finished at -15 under for a solid 3rd place finish and a $6,000 pay-day.
Rounding out the weeks top five were Trey Shirley in 4th place at -14 ($4,000 ) and TT Crouch alone in 5th place at -13 ($3500).
