David Rabil of Orlando captured our Season Opener at Twin Rivers Golf Club this week firing rounds of 67-68-71 to finish at -10 under par. His margin of victory was 3 shots over Jeff Corr of Apopka who opened with 76, then brought some heat finishing with 67-66 to finish at -7 under par.
Keith Greene was alone in 3rd after a 70-71-69 total of -6 under, while John Langhoff finished 4th at -3 with 72-72-69.
Rabil took home $3000 for the victory along with Free entries for the remainder of the season. Congratulations David on some very solid playing.
The FPGTour has announced it will postpone the Leesburg Open until later this season. We will however be headed to Riviera Country Club in Ormond Beach for the 61st Annual Riviera Open set for December 4-5, 2021. The event will once again be sponsored by Halifax Health with the Champion receiving $5000 for the victory. We already have 80 players entered so please don’t wait too long to enter. This event is always a popular stop and usually sells out early.
